The 2025-26 Topps Chrome Basketball collection signifies the brand's first fully licensed, comprehensive release since the 2008-09 season. Topps has introduced a range of case hits and super short print (SSP) inserts in both hobby and retail formats, allowing collectors of all types the opportunity to uncover rare cards. Interestingly, retail formats offer more SSPs than hobby, and these rare inserts have sparked considerable interest and brisk sales on secondary markets since their release.
